DEVELOPMENTAL STAFF
The Developmental Staff
of the
Learning Express provides itinerant special instruction services to
children in
a variety of natural settings, including private preschools, daycare
centers,
Pre-K Counts classrooms, Head Start Centers, and private
childcare
provider's homes, as well as in the child's own home.
Services range from weekly to monthly to occasional
services,
depending on the severity of the child's delays and the type of program
in
which they are currently enrolled. Developmental teachers
are able
to provide consultative services in collaboration with the child's
regular
education teacher, as well as direct services. Our mission is to
provide
services that allow children to remain in the natural setting that the
parent has
already selected for their child. The Developmental Staff is housed in
the
Curtin Building.
